First- Mc pooped in the tub. Monumental in the fact that this is the first time she has ever done it. Probably not the last, but digusting nonetheless.
Second- Me and my lady posse ran 10 miles on Saturday. From our house to the Mesa Temple. Mark was there waiting to pick us up and it was great! It was promising to see people in shirts and ties because I knew we were close! It felt good and really puts into perspective the 1/2 marathon in January.
Third- Mark got the paint for my Trail 90. Yep- that is what I wanted for Christmas. It is going to be FLAMING pink....show stopping fierce! Can't wait for Christmas day and the pictures!!
Fourth- Yep, you probably heard by now, we aren't coming home for Christmas this year. It just didn't seem practical and now with our own family, we thought we would give a whirl here this year.
Not too much else to report. A lot of good yard sale scores this weekend, Christmas shopping almost done, and Hale Theater with friends this weekend to see "The Christmas Carol" (my all time favorite story....made even 100 times better when done by the muppets). Have a good week everyone!
Here is Mc with her "purse"- she is definitely my child. You can find any array of goodies: a binky, a sippy, animals....a girl has to be prepared!
Mc with her FIRST Happy Meal. Mark took her there for lunch and got her some chicken nuggies and a toy. As you can see, she loved it.

Wow ten miles! Good for you! I'm sad we won't be able to see you this Christmas, but that makes me even more determined to plan a trip to see you!
I did hear, and I for one am P.O'd. I had my white elephant all ready to go for Christmas Eve, and it had your name (either of your names really) written all over it!! Also, you're going to miss the Ugly Christmas attire competition. I'm just going to feel stupid for wearing it now. And lastly, I think that a McKinley and Lucy pic toddling around would have been priceless.
Oh, and way to go on the 10 miler! There's nothing like finishing a long run. It feels fantastic!

I have been lucky in the "pooping in the tub" department...4 kids, and not one of them has ever done it. Maybe 5th time is the charm. I also want to know what a Trail 90 is. We'll miss you guys at the party but hope to see you in a few months! :0)
A Trail 90 is a motorcycle isn't it? I could see you buzzin around on a scooter more than a motorcycle but I will get used to it when you get here I guess eh? You'll have to take me for a spin! I'll do a 5 k with you next summer and that's my limit for now but I eventually will aspire to do a half marathon... someday! Love McKinley and her darling little personality! She is mini Tisha! But definitely a Daddy's girl too!

Thankfully, Braeden has never pooped in the tub. Lots of the other, however! I can't believe how much Mc has changed since I saw her last - starting to look more and more like a toddler, less like a baby.
