Update- went to the Dr. today....he said MAYBE a really small small small MAYBE I have dilated almost a centimeter (one finger). I guess any progress at this point is great progress. But Ms. Umbridge said, "Progress for the sake of progress must be avoided". I guess she just really likes it in there...the Taj Mahal of birthplaces I guess.
I also would like to mention that my nesting is entering the final stages! Today we had the carpets cleaned...they were seriously calling to me daily saying their fibers were overloaded with grime and dirt and they must be cleaned. I can now sleep peacefully.
Off to watch the season premiere of "The Office". Until we meet again.

I was always dilated to a two by the time I was 38 weeks and it just gave me false hope. It really doesn't mean anything. I had the same urge to clean my carpets right before I had Abby.
She'll be out before you know it...although I think the last two weeks seem like a century. I have some "M" name guesses...Margaret or Mabel, and my daughter, Ella, guesses Mulan (Disney Princess names are always awesome!)
How was the primiere of the Office?I love that show, but with 3 kids there aren't enough hours in the day and I rarely get to watch it. (Get ready you'll be in the same boat soon!)

You have officialy made it farther than I did with either of my kids. It's good. Fully cooked babies don't get acid reflux as often. I too just cleaned my carpets. It is a very comforting feeling.
Hey I found your blog on Heidi's. I feel your pain. I never got the the appt where I got to see how dilated I was. I always had them before. Except with Lincoln. She did check me and I was dilated to a 4 and had him that day. She must have push the deliver button when she was checking. Good Luck.
