the KING is six

Kingston Grant is six!  Like always, we have celebrated your arrival on the Earth for an entire month. We had an impromptu friend birthday party- I wasn't set on doing a party but when I saw the option to have it at Bricks and Mini Figs and NOT at my house, it was a no brainer. We had a good turn out, pizza, Lego car racing, lots of presents, cake, candy and fun.We had a Williamson party (more money, more legos, clothes) and still have the Lawrence party on deck so presents and toys abound. You LOVE all the presents and attention. Who wouldn't?

 Alex came and took you to a movie (Capt Underpants), dinner, snack shopping and a back yard camp out! You got a headlamp and lots of spoiling including a Capt America fidget spinner!

You also got to spend the day with Britty! Another movie (Cars 3) and lunch! So lucky!

You are one of a kind Kingston! We love your obsession with Legos and your skill with building anything and everything even without directions. You love candy, gum, shrimp and riding your bike and motorcycle. Moving to a new neighborhood full of friends has really made this summer extra fun. You love electronics, getting dirty and have decided that you can now comb your own hair. Your favorite chore is emptying the garbages, you LOVE monster trucks and are champion at whining and harassing until you get your way (which will suit you well when you are grown). You talk often about how much you love Jesus, you aren't shy or afraid. You are hesitant if it is a little dangerous but once you figure it out, you're fearless. You are kind, a great snuggler and you decided to grow quite a few inches since school started last year. You have learned the value of money and are super excited and motivated by the thought of earning a dollar because you can buy gum or a Sprite. You love soda!

Six years zipped by but I will always remember what a quiet, observant baby you were. You have brought so much happiness to our home.You are kind and loving and a great brother. There is something special about having a six year old boy in our house and we are so glad you are ours! We LOVE you!

I think Daddy had just as much fun with the race track as the party guests.

 On your actual birthday you told everyone you only got "two presents but they are really cool"- we forget the bike and the shirt (clothes never count ha).

I love love love that our new ward puts a sign in the yard for ALL (there are hundreds) of the kids in the primary! Here is K sporting his new bike, which he got early thanks to hours of harassing.
