I am like a STAR shining brightly

Just found out that Bree is getting out of ICU today. Her heartrate and blood pressure seem to be returning to normal and she is returning to her pinkish self. Not such a good picture from my dad's phone (sorry Bree) but you can see she is back to her smiling self. I had to share a funny story too- My dad said that she woke up and asked why her stomach was so big, "I thought the Dr. gave me a tummy tuck"....love you Bree! She will get to see Brynlee today for the first time since Monday. Her arms are still really weak and she is sore but I am glad she is still with us.

Side note- the nurses all said what happened to Bree is super rare and we are lucky to have her here. She has gotten 9 pints or so of blood since Monday (DONATE BLOOD PEOPLE!!!) and they are still hoping her body will start producing it's own platelettes.

Prayers truly are answered. I am so glad to still have my little sister here! Life wouldn't be the same without you!

OH MY GOODNESS! Bree and Tyler were some of our best friend in SLC before we moved to Idaho... Is she doing ok!? I had no idea she even had the baby!

Glad to hear things are so much better for her. How exciting for her to see her baby again. This is a good reason to motivate me to donate blood. I just get so nervous about the idea. But the thing is I have the blood that I can donate it to anybody. There are so many people I could help out, I just need to overcome my fear of it.

I am so glad to hear she is doing well. What a horrible feeling being away from family when stuff like this happens. I know how you feel. It was hard when my dad was in the hospital while I was here. What a beautiful little girl though. Congrats Auntie!!

I was worried about her after reading the Brynlee Jade post. I had 3 pints of blood when I had Cannon and I thought that was bad! That is NOTHING compared your sweet sister! I am glad all is well! Our prayers are with you! Bree will recover fast especially now that she has her sweet baby girl in her arms!
