ALERT- angry post ahead

To the person that stole my $70+ worth of clothes...so yesterday, Mckinley and I went to the mall. I was in desperate need of some AB attire(life is now lovingly refered to as PB "pre baby" and AB "after baby"). Found some super cure stuff @ Down East basics and a cute shirt from Sears. Mckinley and I went to the car, then to Target. When I got home, my bags were NO WHERE to be found. I think they dropped out of the stroller when I folded it up- I went back, nothing in the parking lot, nothing @ Customer Service....some lucky emo teenager got some nice stuff and here I am with the same rotation of outfits this week. Oh well, live and you learn. Just hate that sometimes learning sometimes involves beating yourself up about not thinking. On to Monday! Hope you guys had a better weekend!

PS -For those of you that have never been to Superstition Springs mall and seen the hoards of teenagers, or just don't know what an EMO is...I have included a diagram. Enjoy!

I like your sleeves, they're real big

This gem of a shot is from out 80's Valentine's Murder Mystery party. Mark and I were Carol and Charles...the detectives. I know the classy outfit blew my cover :) We had A LOT of fun! I actually found this piece of art known as a one piece jumpsuit @ Salvation Army. It was 1/2 off and calling my name! Again, it was a great time! Thanks Heidi and Bruce for letting us get out on the town!

4 months

We went and saw the Dr. today- Mckinley is almost 15 lbs. (14 lbs 14 ozs). She was such a good girl. She did really well with her shots and even was a good girl for Amanda ALL day(Mark had a side job so that was nice)! She is such an angel.

She also had her first taste of rice cereal tonight....she loved it :) The spoon says it all!

All tuckered out....

The life of a baby is such that a hard day of playing results in this....sprawled out on the Baby Einstein mat too tired to go on.
We just recently switched Mckinley to Soy formula to see if it would be any easier on her stomach. She has really been spitting up a lot and we wanted to see if that would make her any less grouchy. We left her with a babysitter on Valentine's Day and actually had to go home, get her and bring her to the party because she cried for 45 minutes straight and our poor neighbor girl thought she was dying. I would like to think that Mckinley just missed us desperately and that is why but alas, I think it was gas. So, day two of the soy formula and we didn't even make it through church before the crying started. She has been such an angel for 4 months (in no way is she a devil child now) We just wish we could figure out what is making her so unhappy. Any suggestions?

The big 3-0

Happy Birthday to the love of my life! Last night we had a little surprise party for him (thanks guys for coming!) and he was a little slow on the uptake (old age already setting in or something haha) but it was fun! We are truly blessed to be surrounded by people we love and hold as close to our hearts as family.

To my glorious husband- I love you! I can actually talk to you in first person because being a "stay at home mom" now....you will inevitably read the blog :) You are the light of my life, my knight, my best friend and truly, truly a miracle in my life. You are the best father and husband. Here is to another 70 birthdays together!

You are getting very sleepy, very sleepy.....

This is the newest thing Mckinley does...the world is just too exciting to go to sleep. We watched her for quite a while before we got the camera. Such a cutie...wish the video would have done more justice for the skeleton jammies she is wearing. She has also recently found her feet which makes bathtime for more of a wet experience :)

Things here are great. Mark is celebrating his 30th birthday on Sunday and my 27 birthday is Monday. Time has definitely sped up...but I think things will become far more memorable with Mckinley on board. We are really looking forward to some of her major milestones.

Last night we had the ward adult dance. Not too many people showed up but it was a blast! We really do have an awesome ward and some friends that are amazing! Thanks Amanda for watching "Kinley" even though she was ornery! We love you!
