Call me Madam.

For the past few weeks, the miracle of metamorphosis has been taking place at our house. Mc got a Butterfly Garden from her bestie Kate for Christmas. We sent away for the caterpillars almost a month ago and got to watch them fatten up, turn into cocoons and emerge as butterflies.  It was pretty amazing really. I was worried that Mc would have little interest in touching them but she was pretty excited once I took the first one out. She just sat and watched, laughed and watched them fly away. I have to say, one of my favorite things about my daughter is how much she just soaks everything in..everything is new and exciting. I love that having a butterfly tickling her hand made her throw her head back and laugh. Simple pleasures-
glad I have kids that help me remember that once, something as simple as butterfly was all it took to make me so happy.
