Curses were made to be broken
When we set out to have another baby, we knew that the odds, being that we have 18 nieces and only two nephews (both born to Mark's sisters), were not in our favor. We had settled in to the fact that we wouldn't have to buy too many new clothes, Mc and the new "girl" baby could share a room and our little darling would fit right in amidst the high pitched screaming of the Williamson family party. Friday afternoon we had our appointment with Fetal Studio @ 2:00. We followed our European OB/GYN into the backroom and tell him we are hoping for a boy "but we don't have our hopes up". We were pleasantly surprised to see the "pee pee" (in Europe, the PC term) and our bouncing baby boy sucking away on his hand right as the wand hit my stomach. A BOY! We were both surprised, shocked and excited to share the news with our families. While at the mall, we decided to try and find some little boy clothes...not such an easy task. Let's be honest, little girls really do have the advantage- it's like 50 -1 on the cute ratio.

Aw- so excited for you guys! And I totally agree with the 50-1 ratio. Not fair in the least...
Sigh....We are so happy for you both! All I can say is I miss you so much(tear)
And now I can officially say, Congrats on the boy!! I wouldn't have believed it if you just told me, but now that you've put the ultrasound picture on your blog, it appears to be fact. YAY!
I knew you could do it! We will find you plenty of awesome boy stuff, because heaven knows I need an excuse to by something that is NOT pink. We are so excited.
Congrats you guys! I'm going to have to take your word for it on the boy clothing because really, I pay about as much attention to that section of the store as I do the auto section. I just knew you could break the curse. This news really builds my testimony of miracles!
I'm so excited for you guys! Boys are so fun and Mark will have a blast with his lttle boy! You are right about the clothes department... pretty much nothing compared to girls!

Yeah! I am so excited for you guys. Dave wants to know if he can borrow him sometimes. He is in desperate need of some testosterone to hang out with. Do you think he would be available for rent for father/son campouts and such? :)
