We all know that there is one defining attribute associated with love that makes it wonderful, thoughtfulness. I witnessed this first hand this morning. I sent Mark to work on this rainy morning just like any other Friday. Mc was taking her bath and I heard the front door open. There was my love, holding something that would make any heart melt...this chocolatey, cakey doughnut is a Dunford Doughnut. You can't buy them anywhere but in Utah and since I have been back, I have yet to have one. Now, not only are these doughnuts delicious, but I can remember my dad, almost every Saturday, bringing my mom a Coke and a doughnut (which we would all sneak bites from when she wasn't looking!)....the circle continues. This is the start to a wonderful day!

Ahhhhh!! What a great guy! That was so thoughtful of him.
I can't believe you've been back in Utah this long and haven't gotten one yet...we got there a lot!
You remember that!?! He still does that...and noone to sneak a bite? What a shame. But Mark is a good man! Thank goodness Dunford is just right around the corner!! Yeah!!
A coke and a dunford doughnut for mom...there's something strange and very similar about our upbringing.
Oh, and I buy them at Costco and at gas stations...
Yum. Better than flowers I dare say.

I also think no one in my family looks the same.

tisha, we love the same things including our great hubby's, perfect baby girls and doughnuts!
At least that's one thing I won't have to miss anymore - the beloved Dunford Doughnut. My dad would take us to 7-11 before/after skiing to get one. I can taste it now...
Sweet. Like Aish, I too feel a kinship to your upbringing; I think I had my first Tab before I could walk. (No offense to Shar, if she's reading!)
That Mark's a real softy.
Mmmm dunford!!! My problem is I buy the 12 pack at costco...
Yes- we need to hang out now that you're back. Where do you guys live anyway?
PS- I love how many comments this post got! And how sweet is mark?
