Wow- up until last week I never realized how codependent I was on technology- I honestly went through internet and blogging withdrawal! Our computer was overtaken by a nasty spyware virus last week and thanks to the graciousness of one Evan Iund (we are forever indebted), we are now back up and running. I know you missed me :)
So here are the details- my mom is gone. It was hard. I never thought it would be as difficult as it was to have her leave- she was here for 16 days and we had a great time. She is up for a game of Scrabble for anyone interested...she could use the practice for when we come home for Christmas ;) (have some taters!! ha). Dad and Bree came for a few days which was nice- it made me realize how long it has been since we had a baby in the family. It also made me wish to be home- we are more than likely coming home for Christmas and can't wait for everyone to see our little girl.
Mckinley had her two week appoinment and she now weighs 8 lbs 8oz. She is a chubster and a great eater. She is sleeping almost 3 hours consistently at night and Mark and I have been taking turns getting up with her. We in fact were just talking tonight about feeding her at night being such a trip. It is so quiet- nothing but the soft squeaks of a newborn and your thoughts- so surreal and meditative.
We are all happy and healthy and enjoying Mary Ann (Mark's mom) being here this weekend. She will be here until Wednesday and then another sad day when she has to leave.
Ok- time for the pictures which I am sure what you have really been waiting for :) Again, thanks to everyone for coming to visit and OH and we got an anonymous gift in the mail...a dArLiNg onesie with her name on it!!! If that was you....we love it! Thanks for the prayers, well wishes and thoughts. We really do miss you guys and wish you all could be here to love on her :)

Mckinley and Mimi
I like Mckinley's face in this one...she knows full well the trouble Grandpa is going to give her...and sweet Van Halen T-Shirt dad :)

I meant to call you last week to see how you were doing since your mom left and spaced it. So sorry, I'm a bad friend. I need to do better. Sorry about the computer, that's no fun. But glad to see you back up and running. I always enjoy seeing pictures.
Tisha!! She is SO darling!! I can't wait to meet her!! And it really is a blessing to be a mother!!! I know what you mean about the 'hardness' of when you do it by yourself for the first time. Yeah I really broke down the first day by myself with TWO!!! AHHH! But I'm in a routine by now and it is not so demanding as they get older! :) I need to call you too!! Do you have unlimited text?
She's cuter than ever! We love her and miss her (and you guys too)! I'm not that bad at scrabble-remember I beat you-twice! But I have to say, I am going through withdrawals...get here quick! Love ya lots! Mimi
Those are great pictures. I love the one with your mom and dad holding her...they look like happy grandparents! I'm glad that you're loving being a mom so much! I can't wait to see her at Christmas time!

I am so glad you finally got me some pictures. Geez!! She is gaining some weight which is so awesome. The chunkier the better.
Ohhh, I love the pics, Mimi's hand squishing those little cheeks in the first one, priceless!
Yeah i am so glad you are for sure going to be here for CHristmas!!! So Mckinley and Sophie weigh the same now how funny!! She is so cute! I want to see some pictures of the proud Mama and Mckinley!! Love ya tons
I'm so glad you're coming for Christmas! We'll definitely have to see your sweet bundle. I really miss those tiny, cuddly, newborn moments. They are much better than the clingy, whiny, tantrum-throwing toddler moments!!
Love all the pictures! Tell your family to move here... we love having them around. Glad the computer is up and running. Mckinley is such a "Big Mac" and so darn cute to boot!
Terrie and I were talking about how cute her name is and now I can see how cute she is. Congrats! I am excited to see you over the Holidays! PS Cody is not dorky, he wanted me to add that :) We hope everything is well in AZ.
What proud looking granparents!! If this the first grandbaby for your parents or his?? I still need to come see you. We have not been feeling well at our house and I feel I am going a million miles a minutes with my crazy bunch. She is so cute though!! It is nice to see how you guys are doing.
I sneaked over to your blog from Michelle Twilley. She is a darling! I'm gonna add you to my blog peeps, okay?
